In his prior occupation, Joseph worked as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, a top global accounting firm.

Joseph was born into humble beginnings in a single parent household in the South Bronx. He was fueled by the challenges he faced to strive for success in order to avoid the financial struggles he experienced. Joseph was a firstgeneration college attendee and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University at Albany.

In addition to his continued focus on helping his clients achieve their financial goals, Joseph is dedicated to giving back to his community through mentoring and teaching financial literacy. Joseph is a frequent contributor to various publications, covering topics from financial planning to financial risk management, and has been a speaker on various panels for educational and professional organizations. He recently became a member of the Business Insider's Money Council, which includes financial advisors and industry professionals from around the U.S. He also served as a junior board member and financial presenter for 12 years at World of Money, a non-profit organization. In his personal time, Joseph also enjoys traveling with his wife, trying new cuisines, reading, basketball, and exercising.
